PURPOSE: To obtain a driving gear for double twister, comprising a driving gear arranged collectively as much as possible, being readily maintained, having no fear of occurring no and high twist in starting or stopping.

CONSTITUTION: Tangential belts 72R and 72L arranged to run at the right and the left for separately driving right and left spindle lines laid back to back are independently driven by motors 79R and 79L at both sides of a frame. A right winding mechanism line is driven by a speed change gear 61R connected to a driving pulley 70R of the belt 72R and a left winding mechanism line by a speed change gear 61L connected to a turn pulley 71L of the belt 72L. The speed change gears 61R and 61L are collected at one end of the frame to give a driving gear of double twister.
