PURPOSE: To make it possible to elevate reliability of an operation control, by connecting a coil having inductnace to a row or column coil, whose inductance is smaller, and equalizing a waveform of a conducting pulse current.

CONSTITUTION: The intersection elements are arrayed in four rows Y0...Y3 and eight columns X0...X7, to the rows Y is connected a driving circuit 13 containing electric power source, and to the columns X whose inductance is small are connected in series an external resistor 14 for equalizing DC resistance to the columns Y, and a driving circuit 16 containing the coil 15 and electric power source. In this case, resistance value of the resistor 14 and inductance of the coil 15 are made equal to resistance R0 and inductance L0 of the columns X, respectively. Resulting from the foregoing, when one row and one column are selected from the rows Y and the columns X, respectively, and pulse current is made to flow from the circuit 13 and the circuit 16, the waveforms of the electric currents IX and IY flowing in the columns X and the rows Y, respectively, become the same form, and reliability of an operation control can be elevated.
