Abstract:
PURPOSE: To check the development of stress between gears by a method wherein stopping is done after the predetermined steps of return at the stopping of a driving pulse motor at a predetermined position.
CONSTITUTION: A pulse motor 12 is set to stop at every four steps, for example. At this case, a signal, which is ahead of the stopping position by five pluses, is obtained so as to advance fiver steps and then retreat one step by being inputted by one pulse in the retreating direction before stopping. Since the final one pluse acts so as to reverse the pulse motor 12, no urging occurs between a driving gear 13 on the pulse motor 12 side and a driven gear 15 on a driving mechanism side by engaging with each other at the action of a printing mechanism or the like, resulting in developing no stress between both the gears 13 and 15 at time of stopping.
