Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate unnecessary vibration and noise from a movable unit by increasing or decreasing the drive current of other drive coil which does not switch the drive state corresponding to the switching direction when the drive state of one drive coil is switched. CONSTITUTION:When an input pulse is supplied to a signal input terminal 8, a control circuit 7 conducts transistors 9a, 10a, and flows a drive current through a coil 13a. When the voltage between the terminals of a resistor 15a becomes higher than the prescribed value, the drive current which flows through the coil 13a by the output of an operational amplifier 20a is reduced, and the drive current which flows through the coil 13a is eventually maintained substantially at constant value. When one of the drive currents which flow through the coils 13a, 13b is switched, the current of the other drive coil which is not switched is increased, and the attracting force between the stational unit and the movable unit forming a linear pulse motor can be always maintained constantly.
