To provide a driving selective linear controller for a shifter fork in a structurally simple torsion lace machine capable of sufficiently following up to high-speed rotation without any maloperation and retaining a normal braiding motion.
This driving selective linear controller for a shifter fork 11 is obtained by rotatably connecting a movable member 23 through connecting joints 22a, 22b, 22c and 22d to a supporting member 20 and having a multipolar permanent magnet 27 fitted therein, supporting a selective rod 25 on the movable member 23, arranging the movable member 23 and an excitation coil 28 so as to enable the action as a linear actuator, energizing the excitation coil 28, transferring the selective rod 25 to a working position, thereby pushing up and lifting the selective rod 25 when lifting a pushing up piece 36 fixed to the protruding end of a displacement imparting member 33, pushing up a fork shaft 14 and thereby carrying out the selection and control of the driving of the shifter fork 11.
