Abstract:

To provide a driving support system for confirming easily safety when passing through an intersection.

This driving support system acquires photographic results (images) S1-S3 of a road side camera 12 and an onboard camera 34 for photographing a road to the intersection C, prepares composite image A by combining the acquired photographic results, based on a current position and a position of the intersection C or the like, and displays the composite image A on a display part 28. The plurality of images S1-S3 photographed by the road side camera 12 and the onboard camera 34 is thereby displayed by the one composite image A, and therefore a driver easily and intuitively recognizes a road condition to the intersection, by only viewing the composite image A displayed on the display part 28.
