Abstract:
To provide a driving unit which can inhibit damage of a unit case caused by contact of a side member during a head-on collision of a vehicle.SOLUTION: A cover 32 forming a unit case expands to a side member 51 to provide a space 52, in which wirings 44, 47 are disposed, at the inner side. A portion 53 expanding to the side member 51 contacts with the side member 51 which deforms during a head-on collision of a vehicle to receive the side member 51.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
