Abstract:

To provide a liquid crystal display device which is inhibited from the degradation of image quality by eliminating noise by inhibiting the interference to be generated due to difference of frequencies of signal for generating driving voltage and the display frequency.

The liquid crystal display comprises: a liquid crystal panel which includes a plurality of gate lines extending in a row direction, a plurality of data lines extending in a column direction, switching elements connected with the gate lines and the data lines, and a plurality of pixels each including a liquid crystal capacitor connected with an output terminal of the switching element and a common voltage, and a storage capacitor connected with the output terminal of the switching element and a prior stage gate line; a gate driving part for supplying a gate voltage for driving the switching elements to the gate lines; a data driving part for supplying gradation voltage corresponding to data signal to be applied to the data lines; and a driving voltage generation part which boosts voltage by the boosting clock signal, for generating the gate voltage and the common voltage on the basis of the boosted voltage, wherein the boosting clock signal is synchronized with the common voltage.
