Title:
DROP WIRE ABNORMAL TENSION BUFFER STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11164460
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a buffer structure which absorbs and consumes abnormal tension unexpectedly applied to an overhead drop wire, does to effect a hook which is provided on the wall surface of a house, etc., in order to retain the overhead drop wire, and furthermore, facilitates confirmation of such an abnormal tension state.

An overhead drop wire is lead into a house, etc., by retaining the drop wire with a hook 7 provided on the houses, etc., via an anchor insulator 6, etc. An expandable warped part 2 is provided approximately in the middle part of a buffer metal fitting 1 consisting of a rod-shaped element with a certain length. Bent parts 4 of both the ends of the expandable warped part 2 are retained and fixed to each other with a clasp 5. One of the ends of the buffer metal fitting 1 is retained with the anchor insulator 6, etc., and the other end is retained with the hook 7 so as to provide the buffer metal fitting 1 between the anchor insulator 6 and the hook 7. If abnormal tension is applied from the overhead drop wire, the structure is so constituted that the clasp 5 is disconnected and the expandable warped part 2 of the buffer metal fitting 1 expands to absorb the abnormal tension.
