Title:
DROPLET DISCHARGE HEAD, LIQUID CARTRIDGE, AND IMAGE FORMATION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004358866
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve the problem that a line width of a drawing part for drawing individual electrodes to a connector with an exterior by high integration becomes narrow, and when the drawing part is formed of a polysilicon or an ITO, a high frequency drive becomes difficult.

A droplet discharge head includes a nozzle 5, a discharge chamber 6, a vibrating plate 21, and a vibrating plate electrode 41 for constituting at least a part of the vibrating plate 21, and an opposed electrode 22 disposed oppositely to the vibrating plate 21 through a gap 23. The vibrating plate electrode 41 or the opposed electrode 22 becomes the individual electrode individually electrically separated at each channel. In the head in which pressure is applied to the liquid by deforming the vibrating plate 21 by an electrostatic force to discharge a droplet, the material of the drawing part 24 for connecting the electric connector 25 and the individual electrode 22 to the exterior is formed of a metal material having a lower resistance value than a material (polysilicon 33) for forming the individual electrode 22.
