To provide a droplet ejection apparatus which can eject minute droplets to an ejection object.

An ink-jet head 1 has a pressure chamber 14 in which ink is stored, a piezoelectric actuator 3 for imparting a pressure to the ink in the pressure chamber 14, a nozzle hole 20 which can eject a main droplet Ia to recording paper P and eject a satellite droplet Ib having a volume smaller than the main droplet Ia along with the ejection operation of the main droplet Ia, and a protruding part 22 which is disposed at a position between the nozzle hole 20 and the recording paper P where it comes into contact with the main droplet Ia ejected from the nozzle hole 20 but does not come into contact with the satellite droplet Ib for catching merely the main droplet Ia. Therefore, the main droplet Ia is catched by the protruding part 22, and merely the satellite droplet Ib reaches the recording paper P.
