Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving position accuracy of the impact position of droplets in a medium.SOLUTION: A droplet discharge device includes: a head which discharges droplets from a nozzle toward a medium; a conveyance section which moves the medium in a conveyance direction with respect to the head; a conveyance amount detection section which detects conveyance amount of the medium; an angle change mechanism which changes an arrangement angle of the head with respect to a surface of the medium facing the head so as to displace an intersection of a center shaft of the nozzle and the surface of the medium in the conveyance direction; and a control section which controls the conveyance section and the angle change mechanism. The control section changes the arrangement angle of the head at an angle according to a difference between the detected conveyance amount and a target conveyance amount after executing the conveyance of the medium according to the target conveyance amount and adjusts the impact position of the droplets.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
