To provide a droplet ejection head capable of achieving improvement of assembling a droplet ejection head and a low cost, while improving a charging property for a common liquid chamber and an air-bubble discharging property without affecting damping function.
There are provided the droplet ejection head and an image forming apparatus including the head, the head including: a nozzle substrate in which nozzles are formed to eject droplets; an individual liquid chamber substrate in which individual liquid chambers are formed to communicate with the nozzles; and a common liquid chamber substrate in which a common liquid chamber is formed to communicate with the individual liquid chambers. These substrates are laminated. At least a portion of a top surface of the common liquid chamber is flexible, the top surface being disposed at a side opposite to the side where the nozzle plate is provided. The common liquid chamber has a shape such that at least a portion of the common liquid chamber is narrowed in a laminated direction of these substrates. A hight of a wall forming the common liquid chamber in the laminated direction of these substrates is constant, the wall being substantially perpendicular to the top surface.
