To provide a droplet jet head that is equipped with discrete electrodes each having a plurality of step faces and can control an amount of an ink droplet to be ejected by controlling flowing of an ink in an ejection chamber formed on a cavity substrate, and to provide a droplet jet device, a method for manufacturing the droplet jet head and a method for manufacturing the droplet jet device.
This droplet jet head 100 is equipped with a glass substrate 30 comprising a glass groove 32 having step face sections 40-60 on which the discrete electrodes 31 each having the plurality step faces in a stairway shape, respectively. The step face sections are formed in the stairway shape from the step face section 60 at the lowermost portion formed on the bottom face of the glass groove 32 toward both ends in the longitudinal direction of the glass groove 32. The lengths of the two pairs of step face sections in the stairway shape (the step face section 40a and the step face section 40b, and the step face section 50a and the step face 50b) arranged toward both ends in the longitudinal direction are not symmetric in the longitudinal direction of the glass groove 32.
