Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform speed up of a warp knitting machine having dropping plate driving mechanism by providing a dropping plate driving mechanism hardly applying load to a knitting machine driving part of a variable transmission member and not requiring a long member for supporting the dropping plate.
SOLUTION: A dropping plate 16 attached to a driving lever 14 reciprocatably inserted into a retaining frame 7 fixed to an upper machine frame 2a without passing through a long member for supporting the dropping plate 16 is reciprocatably supported by a guide member 18 fixed to a machine frame 2. The dropping plate 16 can be lifted and lowered at a high speed in slight vibration state by displacement transmitted through a displacement-transmitting means by this constitution.
