Abstract:
To suppress overlooking of a subject's drowsiness when the subject feels drowsy.SOLUTION: A drowsiness determination ECU functions as a first determination unit 58, a second determination unit 66 and a control unit 68. The first determination unit 58 determines drowsiness of a driver based on a basal heart rate and a heart rate of the driver of a vehicle. The second determination unit 66 determines the drowsiness of the driver by a different method from that of the first determination unit 58. The control unit 68 outputs a drowsiness detection signal when at least one of the first determination unit 58 and the second determination unit 66 determines that the driver is drowsy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
