PURPOSE: To obtain drugs having skeleton relaxing action for treating diseases and syndromes that are caused by muscular spasm or that are sequelae caused by muscular spasm.
CONSTITUTION: (A) Fulpirtin [2-amino-3-carbethoxyamino-6-(4-fluorobenzylamino)- pyridine] or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt known as a sedative is contained as an active substance in a tablet or capsule in a dosage of 50-500 mg. Optionally, (B) a drug for Parkinson's disease, preferably (-)-deprenyl, biperiden or L-dopa, may be formulated together with a conventional pharmaceutical carrier, auxiliary and/or diluent. They may be formulated simultaneously with the active substance (A) or separately or as combined drugs for delayed- releasing mode. Thereby, drugs for treating the above-mentioned diseases, particularly drugs for treating Parkinson's disease, is obtained.
