Abstract:
To provide a drum brake device capable of preventing braking performance due to accumulation of abrasion powder produced when braked from worsening, and preventing the abrasion powder from scattering to a surrounding environment.
A suction port 25 is formed to penetrate the region near an inner peripheral surface 2a of a rotating drum 22 on a backing plate 9 to support a brake shoe 4 movable toward the inner peripheral surface 2a of the rotating drum 22. A suction collector 28 for collecting the abrasion powder in an atmosphere by sucking the atmosphere in the rotating drum 22 is connected to the suction port 25.
