To provide a drum cleaning device of a printer in which a cleaning cloth with one used side can be used by utilizing the other unused side in a simple operation.
A cleaning cloth supplying part 17 having the cleaning cloth 12 taken up cylindrically mounted therein is provided. A cleaning part 18 making the cleaning cloth 12 supplied from the cleaning cloth supplying part 17 into contact with a blanket cylinder 11. A cleaning cloth taken-up part 20 taking out the cleaning cloth 12 having passed through the cleaning part 18 in the taking shaft 19 is also provided. The taking shaft 19 has shaft parts 24 at both ends in the axial direction, with one end 24 shaped so that a rotary driving force is transferable. The cleaning cloth supplying part 17 is provided with a bearing part which has detachable shaft parts 24 of both ends of the taking shaft 19 removed from the cleaning cloth taken-up part 20 after the cleaning cloth 12 has been taken up.
