Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make possible to reduce creases, shrinkage, and damage to clothes when they are dried, reduce damage to delicate clothes, and dry delicate clothes that were impossible to dry previously, by providing a special course for drying delicate clothes such as dry-cleaning clothes in a drying process.
SOLUTION: To dry delicate clothes such as dry cleaning, when the dry- cleaning clothes drying course is selected and started, with a drum 2 remaining stopped, air warmed by a 'weak heating' heater 25 is blown into the drum 2 by fan 19, passes through wet washing and becomes humid air, entering into a heat exchanger 7 through an exhaust duct 18. Then cool water jets from a water supply valve 6 condense the humid air, and cooled dry air is heated again by the heater 28 and re-circulated into the drum 2. When temperature inside the drum 2 reaches a prescribed value, the heater 28 is turned off, and when the temperature drops, it is turned on again. Thus electricity application is repeated for a prescribed period of time, and air blowing is made and finished.
