Abstract:
To provide an atomization unit capable of generating high-temperature mist and efficiently wetting clothes, etc. by condensing moisture on the surface of the clothes, etc.; and a drum type washing-drying machine including the atomization unit. The atomization unit 30 includes a liquid storage container 31 for storing a liquid 21 as a mist source; an ultrasonic vibrator 32 for applying ultrasonic vibration to the liquid 21 stored in the liquid storage container 31; a liquid injection device 33 for injecting the liquid 21 into the liquid storage container 31; and a liquid temperature sensor 35 for measuring the liquid temperature inside the liquid storage container 31. The liquid temperature inside the liquid storage container 31 is retained as high as possible in the range not exceeding the upper limit temperature for the use of the ultrasonic vibrator 32, and high-temperature mist 20 is generated by operating the ultrasonic vibrator 32.
