To provide a drum-type washing and drying machine capable of preventing the deposition of lints in an air circulation channel in the vicinity of an air inlet and hard to deteriorate the efficiency of the drying.
A drum-type washing and drying machine comprises: an outer case; a water tank 8 disposed in the outer case; a rotation drum rotatably disposed in the water tank 8; drum driving means for rotating the rotation drum; an air circulation channel for connecting an air inlet 10 and an air outlet both formed at the water tank 8; a blower for taking in air in the water tank 8 from the air inlet 10 to the air circulation channel and spewing out air in the air circulation channel from the air outlet to the water tank 8 so as to circulate air in the water tank 8 through the air circulation channel; and a heater for heating air flowing in the air circulation channel. The drum-type washing and drying machine further comprises a water shut-out mechanism 60 for preventing water containing a detergent from approaching the air circulation channel via the air inlet 10.
