CONSTITUTION: In heating washing water, the washing put in a water tank 2 up to a predetermined level to be heated is sprinkled through a circulating hose 15 from a pointed nozzle 16 adjacent to a warm air blow-off port in a shower-like or spattered fashion by a circulating pump 14. Thus, while the washing water is circulated it is efficiently heated by the warm air heated by a heater 6. When the dehydrated washing is dried, the washing water is not circulated, and the warm air supplied through the heater 6 into a rotary drum 3 exchanges heat with the respective surfaces of the washing stirred in the rotary drum 3 to efficiently dry the washing.
