Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing machine which uses a heat pump for hot water generation in a washing step and which generates hot water efficiently by the heat absorbed from the outside air.SOLUTION: A drum type washing machine includes: a heat pump including a compressor 237, a condenser 231 an evaporator 233, a first expansion valve 232, a water-refrigerant heat exchanger 236 for radiating heat from a refrigerant and heating water, and a second expansion valve 235; a blower duct 29 for connecting the evaporator 233 and the condenser 231 and an outer tub; a water supply path 242 for supplying water to the outer tub; a water pouring path 241 which has a portion at least partially different from the water supply path, and which can pour water to the water-refrigerant heat exchanger 236; and an opening/closing mechanism 204 at the blower duct 29. When generating hot water, the opening/closing mechanism 204 is opened and the outside air which has passed a housing is introduced into the blower duct 29. Thereby, heat is absorbed in the evaporator 233, and the amount of latent heat held at the introduction time can be supplied as the heating amount for hot water generation, so that hot water can be generated efficiently.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
