To achieve a drum-type washing machine improving cleaning properties by effectively dissolving a detergent depositing inside a drainage cock in the washing process.
The drum-type washing machine includes a detergent case 35 for drawably housing a detergent introducing box 46, a second water supply means 37b communicating with a water service tap to control water supply through opening/closing and a third water supply channel 39d of which one end is connected to the case 35 and the other end is connected to the drainage cock 51. Directly pouring city water supplied from the second water supply means 37b to the drainage cock 51 via the third water supply channel 39d scrapes up the detergent depositing inside the cock 51 to the inside of a water tank 19, thereby providing the washing machine rendering the cleaning properties improved.
