Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum-type washing machine capable of reliably reducing vibration in a short period of time.SOLUTION: The drum-type washing machine includes: a drum 3 rotatably supported by a horizontal or inclined revolving shaft; a drive motor 12 for rotationally driving the drum 3; a water tub 2 housing the drum; and balancers 8 each having an annular container accommodating a mobile body comprising a rolling body 9 and a viscous fluid 10, disposed at front and rear end parts of the drum. At the start of rotation of the drum 3, the rolling body 9A in the annular container of the balancer 8A at the frond end part and the rolling body 9B in the annular container of the balancer 8B at the rear end part are made to start rotation movement at different numbers of rotations above an uppermost part of the annular container.
