Abstract:
To provide a drum type washing machine capable of favorably suppressing proliferation of black molds and the like in a drum and an outer tub by utilizing ozone water.SOLUTION: A drum type washing machine 1 includes a control part for performing a tub washing operation. In the tub washing operation, the control part sequentially performs: a first tub washing step of storing ozone water of an amount that can come into contact with a drum 23, in an outer tub 20 by an ozone water supply part 60, and rotating the drum 23 at a first rotational frequency by a drive motor 30; a draining step of draining the ozone water from the outer tub 20 by a drain part 40; and a second tub washing step of storing ozone water of an amount that can come into contact with the drum 23 in the outer tub 20 by the ozone water supply part 60, and rotating the drum 23 at a second rotational frequency higher than the first rotational frequency by the drive motor 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
