Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing machine in which a lid (outer lid) is excellently opened and closed.
SOLUTION: By connecting a plurality of bar-shaped members 381 extended in a horizontal direction by a flexible member parallelly to each other, the outer lid 38 bendable between the respective bar-shaped members 381 is constituted. The outer lid 38 is made slidable so that the left and right sides slide along the side edge of the opening 4 of an upper cover 210. The upper surface of the plurality of bar-shaped members 381 connected to each other is covered with a flexible outer lid sheet 382. The thickness of the outer lid sheet 382 is about 0.5 mm for instance. The outer lid sheet 382 is curved accompanying the bending of the outer lid 38 between the respective bar-shaped members 381.
