Abstract:
The present invention is directed to inhibit the washing powder foam generated during washing in the drum-type washing machine. The drum-type washing machine of the present invention is provided with a drainage device(43)for discharging the water in the outer barrel(33); a foam detecting device(71a, 71b)arranged inside of the outside barrel and composed of a pair of electrodes; a control device(57)for controlling washing sequence. The control device carries out the following control of that: when the foam detecting device detects the presence of foam, the weak washing sequence is initiated and the drainage device will not operates within the set time; after the set time, if the foam detecting device detects the absence of foam, then the normal washing sequence is returned; if the foam detecting device also detects the present of foam, the drainage device operates to discharging the water in the outer barrel. Thus, the present invention is capable of inhibiting the generation of washing powder foam, preventing the insecurity misadventure and fault, and saving water resources.
