Abstract:
To provide a drum type washing machine or a drum type washing/drying machine which can further improve washing and rinsing.
The drum type washing machine or the drum type washing/drying machine has a cylindrical outer tub which is provided in an outer frame cabinet to store washing and rinsing water and a cylindrical washing drum tub which is rotatably disposed in the outer tub to house the laundry and washing and rinsing water is applied onto the washing dropping turning within the washing drum tub with the axis line of its rotation set horizontal or diagonal. The direction of applying the washing and rinsing water is changeable according to the normal or reversed rotation of the washing drum tub.
