Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing machine including electric conductivity detection means that is capable of detecting the presence or absence of addition of a fabric softener even while rinsing and that does not affect a flow of washing water.SOLUTION: The drum type washing machine S includes: a housing 1; an outer tub 2 that is supported in a vibration proofing manner in the housing 1 and is configured to store washing water therein; a drum 3 that is rotatably supported in the outer tub 2 and is configured to accommodate laundry; a driving device M10 for rotary driving the drum 3; a water supply unit 15 for supplying water in the outer tub 2; electric conductivity detection means 4 for detecting electric conductivity of water used for washing; a controller 100 that controls the driving device M10 and the water supply unit 15 and is capable of executing at least a washing operation. The electric conductivity detection means 4 is arranged at a position near a bottom wall 52 of an inner bottom part 56 in the outer tub 2.
