To provide a drum type washer/dryer improved in drying function, effectively washing out lint or the like attached to the inside wall of a heat exchanger chamber, or the like in a rinsing process, improved in rinsing function, and reducing unevenness in rinsing.
The drum type washer/dryer is provided with circulating water passages 22, 26, 27, and 28 for shower rinse; the heat exchanger chamber 55 storing a heat exchanging member 60 is provided adjacent to the upper part of the side peripheral surface of a water-receiving tank 6, and an exhaust port 53 communicating with the heat exchanger chamber 55 is provided in the side peripheral wall of the water-receiving tank 6. Therefore, drying function is improved and the rinsing efficiency is enhanced while effectively washing out, the lint or the like attached to the heat exchanging member 60 or the inside wall of the heat exchanger chamber 55 in the rinsing process.
