Abstract:

To provide a heat pump washing and drying machine, capable of blowing in warm air from ahead of a rotating drum without enlarging installation area.

In the washing and drying machine, drying of the washing is carried out by use of a heat pump cycle. A compressor 35 is provided at a base 3 that is located below a water tank 4. Heat exchangers 26 and 27 are provided above the water tank separately from the compressor 35. Both the compressor 35 and the heat exchangers 26 and 27 are provided in a vibration system the same as a washing and drying machine body 1. Since vibration of the water tank 4 is not transmitted to the heat pump cycle, high service life reliability is achieved. A thin washing and drying machine is attained without enlarging the device installation area.
