Abstract:

To provide a drum washing machine by which a user can optimally set the weight of a detergent to be supplied when the detergent is automatically supplied by a detergent supplier.

Before water is supplied into a water receiving tank, a controller once executes weight detection S1 (step A2) and measures the cloth weight W1 based on the result of the detection S1 (steps A3, A11, A22, A33) and then sets the weight of a detergent to be supplied and directs a detergent supplier to supply the detergent at water supplying. The weight of cloth is measured again based on the result of washing weight detection S2 after water supplying (steps A6, A14, A25, A36) and the balance of the supplied water weight and the detergent weight is adjusted based on the result of comparing the cloth weight W1 and the cloth weight W2.
