Abstract:
To provide a drum washing machine having a door body operated to be opened and closed without requiring a larger space forward from a body.
Connecting arms 42 are provided to support the door body 3 so that the door body contacts with or separates from an access hole 5 and is turned in a vertical direction. The back side of the door body 3 is configured to contact with and separate from a bellows 11 extending from the side of a water tub 6, and when the door body 3 is opened, the door body 3 is moved to a position below the access hole 5 by the connecting arms 42, and is maintained in an opened state in which the door body is upright along the lower part of the front surface of the body 1.
