Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a favorable internal tooth accuracy even if drawing quantity by a roller is great by formed the tooth end shape in the cylindrical side of a spline internal tooth in such a shape that the tooth height is gradually lowered toward a drum opening end face and the tooth root width is gradually narrowed toward the drum opening end face.
SOLUTION: A tooth end shape in a shell fitting part 2c side of a spline internal tooth 2b is so set that the tooth height H is gradually lowered along a circular arc shape toward a drum opening end face and the tooth root width W is gradually narrowed toward the drum opening end face from W1 to W2. The cross section in the tooth end range of the spline internal tooth 2b is so changed as to be gradually decreased toward the direction of the shell fitting part 2c and shifted from the spline internal tooth 2b to the shell fitting part 2c so that, even if the quantity of drawing by an outside forming roller 10 is much, this can suppress the generation of the back flow of the material. This constitution can provide a favorable internal tooth accuracy, even if the drawing quantity by the roller is much.
