Abstract:
To provide a dry analytical element designed to rapidly measure the concentration of an objective component of measurement such as glucose in blood with high accuracy.
The dry analytical element is designed to measure the objective component of measurement in a liquid sample. The element is composed of an anisotropic membrane having a larger size of pores on the surface on the side for spotting the sample than that of the surface on the side for detecting coloring. The anisotropic membrane is impregnated with a reagent and an imidazole derivative leuco dye for detecting the objective component of measurement.
