PURPOSE: To provide a dry compressed air supply device dispensing with the make-up feeding of water to a circulating system including an air compressor while using the water-cooled air compressor.
CONSTITUTION: A refrigerating dryer 7 is connected to the discharge line 3 of an air compressor 1 through an after-cooler 5 and a separator 6, and dry compressed air dehumidified and dried by the refrigerating dryer 7 is supplied to a demand part (an air jet weaving machine) 18. Water content separated from the compressed air by the separator 6 and the refrigerating dryer 7 is recovered and stored in a receiver tank 9 through a second drain pipe 8 and a first drain pipe 10. Water in the receiver tank 9 is fed to the intake pipeline 2 of the air compressor 1 through a feed water pipeline 11 appropriately by the control of a solenoid valve 13 so as to enter into the compressor 1 along with intake air from the outside air and to serve for cooling and lubrication.
