To provide a dry-heating preventive device for a liquid heating heater of high safety, excellent in reaction with respect to an abnormal temperature, capable of replacing quickly and safely a heat sensitive part after power interruption, capable of preventing breakage of not only the heater but also a container, and capable of restraining damage in baking to the minimum.

This dry-heating preventive device is provided with the heat sensitive part 1 for sensing the baking comprising a low melting point metal or the like junction-arranged in a heat generation part, a switch operated interlocked with a change of the heat sensitive part, and a connection part 3 for connecting the heat sensitive part and the switch, the heat sensitive part and the connection part are provided exposedly, the heat sensitive part is broken when the baking is generated, the heat sensitive part and the connection part are separated from the heat generation part by the breakage, and the switch is interlocked to interrupt electric power to the heater, at the same time. Further, the heat sensitive part comes off from the heater heat generation part to be separated from the heat generation part, and the heat generation part of the heater is released from contact with the container to be separated from the container, when the heat sensitive part is broken, in the heater provided to bring the heat generation part into the contact with the container filled with a liquid.
