Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily, rapidly and properly dry the material to be dried to which coating material is applied by radiating, from an infrared ray lamp, infrared rays having high permeability of infrared rays to a coating film and within the range of high absorptivity for base material and by simultaneously blowing out hot wind within the effective radiation range of infrared rays.
CONSTITUTION: Infrared rays having high permeability of infrared rays for a coating film of coating material applied to the surface of base material and within the range of high absorptivity for base material are radiated to the surface of coated material 21 from plural infrared ray lamps 11 installed in a lamp frame 13 through a hood 14. With respect to the effective radiation range (a) of infrared rays, hot wind fed from a hot air feed pipe 15 is jetted through a hot air jetting opening 12 within the range (b) of hot wind blowing out. Then, within the effective radiation range (a), the coated material is heated by the hot wind and simultaneously heated by infrared rays passing through the coating film from between the base material and the coating film. Further, as a result of the hot wind blowing-out range (b) being within the infrared rays effective radiation range (a), pinholes or bubbles are not generated by pulse on evaporating emission of solvent due to drying of the coating film surface.
