Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dryer of a paint film capable of further efficiently drying the paint film in a further short time without causing deterioration of the paint film.
SOLUTION: The terminal parts C of the heating part 32 of a heater pipe H are arranged protrusively to required blowing spaces or blowing clearances 18 on the outside of insert openings bored in both side reflectors 28 of each reflecting partitioning body 12. This dryer comprises the heater pipe H having the heating part 32 for irradiating the paint film with far infrared ray. The heat source radiated from the heating part 32 is efficiently and uniformly reflected forward by a front reflector 22 and the side reflectors 28. The terminal parts C of the heater pipe H are cooled with the air flowing in the ventilating spaces 18. After the lapse of a predetermined time from current-carrying to the heater pipe H, air blowing is performed by an axial flow fan 34 provided on the back side of a casing 10 so that the paint film heated by heating at the maximum capability of the heater pipe H is cooled by about 10 to 20°C, and this reduced temperature is kept constant.
