Abstract:
To suppress curling of metal foil.
A dryer 30 is a dryer that dries an electrode material for an electrode for use in an electric storage device, applied to one surface 2a of metal foil 2. The dryer 30 comprises a roller 32 in which the size of an outside diameter having an axis set as an axis line AX elongated in one direction is variable. The roller 32 carries the metal foil 2 by winding it in such a manner that the axis line AX serves as the axis so that an outer surface 32c of the roller 32 can face the other surface 2b of the metal foil 2.
