Abstract:
To provide a dryer capable of decreasing an environmental load accompanied by operation.SOLUTION: A dryer 1 that dries a drying object S, i.e., a mixture of a solid and moisture by causing the same to adhere to the surface of a heated rotor 2, is configured such that waste heat of a fuel cell 4 can be used as a heat source for heating the rotor 2. The fuel cell 4 can be disposed in the rotor 2, and air can be used as a heat medium that is heated by the waste heat of the fuel cell 4. At least a portion of the electric power generated by the fuel cell 4 can be used for rotating or heating the rotor 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
