Abstract:
PURPOSE: To dry a cellulose ether containing water in good heat efficiency without attaching to equipment.
CONSTITUTION: A cellulose ether containing water is fed to a high-speed stirring type drier. Steam or warm water is fed to a jacket 3 for covering the outer face of shell 1 of a stirrer and the interior is heated. The cellulose ether is continuously stirred by a shaft 2 equipped with paddles and moved while bringing into contact with the inner face of the shell and discharged from the outlet 7.
