To provide a drying device capable of performing a drying operation of three cycles, though two cycles are regularly performed in an ordinary working time zone.
A refrigerating operation for refrigerating and storing a dried object can be performed in addition to a drying operation to dry the dried object stored in an inner case, in particular, the refrigerating operation is performed fast, and then the operation is switched to the drying operation after the lapse of a prescribed time. For example, in a case when the dried object is a dried fish, and it takes about four hours from drying an ingredient (fish) before processing to completing the dried fish as a completed product, the ingredient before processing is stored in the previous evening to perform the refrigerating operation until the early morning, and then the drying operation is performed continuously. Thus, the drying operation of the first time can be performed before the time when the ordinary working time zone is started, and the drying operation can be performed two times thereafter.
