Abstract:
To reduce an installation area.SOLUTION: A drying device 50 includes a drying furnace 51 through which a band-shaped current collector 11 coated with an active material mixture 14 passes, and a plurality of blower nozzles 52 arranged in the drying furnace 51. The band-shaped current collector 11 is conveyed downward in the vertical direction toward the lowest position C, and is folded back upward in the vertical direction at the lowest position C. The blower nozzle 52 is arranged in the drying furnace 51 along a path through which the band-shaped current collector 11 passes. In the drying furnace 51, the band-shaped current collector 11 located upstream of the lowest position C is referred to as an upstream portion 18, and the band-shaped current collector 11 located downstream of the lowest position C is referred to as a downstream portion 19. The blower nozzle 52 is arranged between the upstream portion 18 and the downstream portion 19. The blower nozzle 52 that blows gas to a curved portion 17 blows gas downward in the vertical direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
