Abstract:
To reduce an installation area.SOLUTION: A drying device 50 includes a drying furnace 51 through which a band-shaped current collector 11 coated with an active material mixture 15 and 16 passes, a plurality of blower nozzles 52 arranged in the drying furnace 51, and a reversing mechanism 60. The band-shaped current collector 11 is conveyed downward in the vertical direction toward the lowest position C, and is folded back upward in the vertical direction at the lowest position C. The blower nozzle 52 is arranged in the drying furnace 51 along a path through which the band-shaped current collector 11 passes. In the drying furnace 51, the band-shaped current collector 11 located upstream of the lowest position C is referred to as an upstream portion 71, and the band-shaped current collector 11 located downstream of the lowest position C is referred to as a downstream portion 72. The blower nozzle 52 is arranged between the upstream portion 71 and the downstream portion 72. The reversing mechanism 60 reverses the direction of a first surface A1 and the direction of a second surface A2 at the lowest position C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
