Abstract:
To quickly cool a sheet left in a drying chamber upon the occurrence of a conveyance abnormality of drying equipment.SOLUTION: Drying equipment (4) dries a sheet (S) formed with an image. The drying equipment comprises: a conveyance unit which conveys the sheet to the outlet from the inlet of a drying chamber (15); a heater (32) which heats the sheet conveyed to the drying chamber; an exhaust fan (35) which exhausts the humidity from the drying chamber with the normal rotation; and sensors (38, 39) which detect a conveyance abnormality of the sheet by the conveyance unit. When the sensors detect the conveyance abnormality, the exhaust fan reversely rotates to blow the air to the sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
