To provide a washing drying machine capable of reducing consumption of power without discharging high moisture air into a room, and of saving water.
For the drying operation step of the washing drying machine, a heater heat drying step of sending warm air heated by a heater to a rotary drum or an inner tank to evaporate moisture from dried objects, and warm an outer tank and a circulation duct with high moisture air coming from the inner tank while dehumidification is performed by wall surface condensation is used with a blow discharging step of taking in air outside a blow passage to the blow passage by an intake means to take air in a space between an upper surface of the outer tank and a casing to the blow passage, and discharging air in the same quantity through a drain hose for time-by-time combination for operation. At the last stage or after completion of drying operation, water is supplied through the drain hose while pressure in the drain hose is secured. Drying operation is thus enabled without discharging high humidity air into the room, and power consumption is reduced without deteriorating environments of the room. When heating with the heater, cooling water is not used, and water is saved.
