To provide a drying machine or a washing/drying machine capable of drying not only chemical fiber clothes and mixed fabric clothes but also cotton products while executing an exhaust manner that fresh air is sucked from a suction means to a blowing duct and reducing power and cooling-water consumption.
The drying machine includes a drying apparatus including the blowing duct for blowing hot air into a rotary drum 29, a heating means 62, a blowing means 61 and a moisture removing part 5, and a drain hose 9 for draining water coming from an outer tub 20, wherein air circulates in the order of the blowing means 61, the heating means 62, the tub 20, the moisture removing part 5 and the blowing means 61 at drying. The suction means 13 for sucking air in a space between the box 2 from the top of the tub 20 to the duct is disposed in the duct in an upstream side of the blowing means 61. At drying, while the heating means 62 is energized, air in the space with the box 2 is sucked from the top of the tub 20 to the duct. All of or a part of air from the drum 29 is discharged from the hose 9 to a drain outlet 39.
